And the 3rd Trimester begins....

Well I got the results to my Glucose test and I PASSED with "flying colors". However, my iron is dropping and my OB wants me to start taking supplements. :::Saying a little prayer that I do not become constipated:: Oh what us pregnant ladies pray for. ;-)

So on Friday, the 3rd Trimester decided to rear its ugly head & welcomed me with swollen ankles and toes. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my feet and toes were killing me. Well it was obvious when I took my socks and shoes off. UGH! Thank goodness its gone now and I hope it stays gone. I was a little concerned because my mom had Toxemia with me. Now known as Pre-E. My last OB appt my blood pressure was great so....just me being a worried wart I suppose.

The other update...I'm not yet 7 months pregnant yet and I peed myself. Yes I said peed myself. :::sigh::: I sneezed standing up and I guess lost control, not enough to empty my bladder but enough to soak the front of my undies. My worst fear at this point....sneezing at work and having this happen. :::Please God, don't let that happen!!:::

I'm gonna finally post a belly pic so here it is.....

Stay tuned a for another nursery update. I hope to be 90% done tomorrow evening. :-) YAY!!!
So here is what is going on with baby at 27 weeks...Your baby continues to grow and develop inside of you. Measuring about 14.5 inches long, he weighs just about 2 lbs.

This week, his brain is developing quickly. His eyelids, which have remained closed up until this point, begin to open and now his retinas can begin to form. The retina contains specialized photoreceptor cells that respond to light, called rods and cones. Cones in particular help us perceive color.

His skin is still wrinkly but by 27 weeks, he basically looks how he will look when you give birth to him, in just a couple of months!

You look great! And I hate to break it to you, but even w/ all the kegels I did. I occasionally (like twice since the boys were born) have sneezed or coughed and peed my pants. It's a horrible thing! I had to take iron supplements too. I didn't have too many issues with it. Just the first few days that's it. GL!
